A fabulous day out in Edinburgh was enjoyed by our members on Thursday 14th September. Some of the group also visited the Scottish Parliament where they had a tour of the building, sat in for the First Minister's question time, and met our local MSP, Jeane Freeman. The whole group then stopped off for tea and a visit to the shopping centre at Livingston on the way home.

Prize Bingo sessions will restart next month on Tuesday October 3rd at 1.30pm!

Good news - We are hoping that the Genealogy/Family History group will be re-starting in September. We'll publish the exact date as soon as we can.

Crafts - We are still hoping to start a craft group but we would like our members to tell us what crafts they would like to try, or what crafts they might be keen to share with others, so please contact Anne Walker.

Men's Shed - We are keen to get a men's shed group started. Nothing has yet been decided other than we know there's a need to select suitable premises and formalising some men's shed activities. If you have any thoughts on how this group might develop, or you would like to be part of it please get in touch.

One raised bed left for rent in the garden. Contact Anne or Maureen McElroy to reserve, £10 per year.

Now things are moving along in the garden, we're wondering if any members would like to donate any garden furniture and/or garden tools? Please get in touch if you have something to offer.

Don't forget that we still have our special arrangement with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines to offer our members a 10% discount on your first cruise booking. This particular offer is only available to MOF's members. So, if cruising the high seas is your idea of a great holiday then you'd be crazy to miss out on this special discount. Please see the section below (keep scrolling down!).
