Update on proposed refurbishment of the Speaker

There have been various rumours circulating about what was happening when this actually commences.  Mark Fletcher was present and could explain the situation.  There is no definite date for this work at the moment as one or two matters still have to be finalised.

The committee of MOF’s have been looking at premises where the groups could use while the refurbishment takes place.

It was agreed at this meeting that the Speakers will give MOF’s at least 4 weeks notice when the work will commence; until then groups will remain status quo

Garden behind Speakers- members have been told that the access to the garden may be lost during the refurbishment and not to start planting out at this time

Annual General Meeting
