Events are either monthly sessions or one-offs, which can take the form of meetings, talks & presentations, trips/visits, bingo, table-top sales etc.. We are adding more events to the upcoming list frequently. See below for our upcoming events. All events take place at The Speakers unless specifically mentioned.

Thursday June 7th: 'A different sort of Journey'. As a young girl Jess Smith lived with her family in a Bedford bus. A promise she made her father to write about Scottish Travellers resulted in six books and travelling the world sharing her story. This promises to be a fascinating not-to-be-missed talk by Jess, who is much in demand across Scotland and the rest of the world for her tales which are funny, scary, exciting or just plain interesting! This talk will start at 1.30pm.

Monday September 3rd: MOFs Karaoke at 1.30pm and hosted by Mark Fletcher! Here's your chance to win a professional quality recording and a CD of your performance of your favourite Karaoke song. Fancy yourself as the next star to top the charts? This will be a fabulous fun karaoke afternoon for all, with a special prize studio recording for the singer judged to be the best of the day! 

Thursday September 13th: MOFs bus trip outing to Gretna. More details to follow.

Thursday December 13th: Aladdin. Panto at Kings Theatre, Glasgow. 1pm matinee performance. Please register your interest in tickets as soon as possible. Names and full payment required by May 1st. Tickets are first come first served
