Events are either monthly sessions or one-offs, which can take the form of meetings, talks & presentations, trips/visits, bingo, table-top sales etc.. We are adding more events to the upcoming list frequently. See below for our upcoming events. All events take place at The Speakers unless specifically mentioned.


July 2019


Knit 'n Natter is coming to MOF's, this is going to be an evening group, it will be from 7pm - 9pm, to be held in the community room in Crosne Street, Maybole.

Bring along your latest project or come and learn to knit or crotchet.

Coffee/tea and cake will be available 

We are asking for a contribution of £1

August 2019

Wednesday 7th August - Trip to Edinburgh Tattoo. Though all of our pre-booked tickets are now sold, if you still wish to go please contact Dodds of Troon who do still have tickets available at £79. (Dodds: 01292 288100). Please note that the Dodds bus will be picking us up in Maybole.

December 2019

Thursday 12th December - Jack and the Beanstalk Panto at Glasgow Kings Theatre. This is a trip to the matinee performance at 1pm. Own transport arrangements, and tickets available from Anne Walker are £20.

Monday 16th December - Christmas Lunch at Wildings from 1pm. We are once again planning on going to Wildings for a MOFs Christmas lunch. As this was a big success last year with more than 50 Members in attendance. We would like to invite any and all MOF members to join us. Approximate prices at time of writing are 2 Courses at £15.95 and 3 Courses at £18.95. Members will be required to pay in advance for lunch and to pay for their drinks at the time of ordering which will allow us all to enjoy the day.
